kernel: Use-after-free in usb_serial_console_disconnect()

Description

The usb_serial_console_disconnect function in drivers/usb/serial/console.c in the Linux kernel before 4.13.8 allows local users to cause a denial of service (use-after-free and system crash) or possibly have unspecified other impact via a crafted USB device, related to disconnection and failed setup.

This issue does not affect the Linux kernel packages as shipped with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5, 6 and Red Hat Enterprise MRG 2, as a code with the flaw is not built in these products. This issue affects the versions of the Linux kernel as shipped with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7, its real-time kernel, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 for ARM 64 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 for Power 9 LE. This has been rated as having Low security impact and is not currently planned to be addressed in future updates.
