Description

Stack-based buffer overflow in FontForge 20100501 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (application crash) or possibly execute arbitrary code via a long CHARSET_REGISTRY header in a BDF font file.

This issue affects the version of the fontforge package as shipped with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6. The Red Hat Security Response Team has rated this issue as having low security impact, a future update may address this flaw.
